O, Children of Mine By Revisen Christ Tomalonis

mother horse and baby horse

Hyde Park Thursday Poets Rally Week 76: October 31-November 7, 2012

You are God's gift to me
in life's morning!
I'm your servant in life to be
living and a-glowing!
O, children of mine.
I'm love's reward at noon
a blue moon before your birth!
You're God's blessing so soon
when I saw the day!
O, Children of Mine!
In life's evening I pray
to love you in dead!
From the day you are formed,
to times we get to know each other,
O, Children of Mine!
I bet we're connected in Eternity,
Since I chose maternity!
Who said that the bond is breakable?
Who dare to decline sadness in evil's hand?
O, Children of Mine.
Shall I bless you with joy
under the sky's grace?
What greater joy is thine?
To do so is definitely divine?
O, Children of Mine.

Full Moon (Story and Poetry)

Moon and Stars, lovers, Lovers

The shape of
love stays put,
in an open tunnel of blue.
Love refuses to give up,
The shape has no solid form
and we see a hole,
A star from the North pole.

Yacht (Haiku on Luxury Yacht The Ship In Ocean Floor)

Brave the sea with speed,
Wind is the driving motor,
Nature's power to go.
Let sage's words rain,
Hold the oar to your yacht tight,
Pedal to open sea.
The tides may shift,
The weather may be stormy,
have your yacht ready.

Shades of Blue (Poetry, War, and Friendship)

Thursday Short Story Slam Week 29: Dramas and Freedom

Rambling day,
slow running time,
At an air crafts filled bay,
I dwell without disturbance of any crime,
alone, with roses on my gun hole,
Join me, grab my hand,
we would walk, not run,
We need neither music nor band,
The sky is sunless,
The land is colorless,
But we will gather strength and smell the rose,
and we will get out of this haunted place,
with open choice,
Let's ignore shades of blue here,
and enter the fascination of love
and peace, my dear!

Crystals and Cobwebs By Steven CorWin (1975)

Hyde Park Thursday Poets Rally Week 74 (October 4 -October 10)

The thistles are crystals
that shine like the sun,
and their hangings are cobwebs
that make spiders run.
The present are gilt-covered
treasure delight:
the warmth are the presents,
season's own trite.
For the cheer is not ever
heard down the hall;
the cheer is all gone-
It was lost there last fall,
his lover has left,
She has gone far away,
and neither a word nor a message
did say.
The truth is so sad,
but certainly true:
his Christmas is a lonely
and empty sea blue,
Like sparkles and diamonds,
She once possessed,
His darling,
his lover
has lain him to rest.

Thursday Flash Fiction Week 28: Innocence and Dreams

Grow more healthy fruits,
Bad words tear relation apart,
Language needs art!
either heals or breaks the tie,
use it with caution.
Help is free to give,
Take knowledge seriously,
Obtain faith and grace.
